The rug was colored red,
The shoes were resting in bed.
The toys were on the fan,
The phone was in a pan.
The books were in the sink,
The clothes were splashed with ink.
The dog was covered in mud,
The garage was about to flood.
Oh, what a mistake their parents made,
To leave in charge the devil’s brigade.
