Up All Night

The other night I could not sleep.
After flossing and brushing, And washing and flushing, And tossing and turning, And longing and yearning, And thinking and lying, And bowing and praying, And counting one thousand sheep\_\_\_ I just could not sleep.
I tried eating and munching, And scratching and punching, And moaning and groaning, And watching and phoning, And cleaning and drying, And baking and frying…
Complaining and crying, I fell into bed in a heap And finally got some sleep.
